Wolong Mountain-Celestial palace and Ground Palace

    Weihai Wolong Mountain tourism scenic spot is located in the northwest of the mountain area of Weihai City. To its north, there is Gumo Mountain where the famous Gumo Mountain War happened. To the south is a full view of Weihai. Wolong Mountain Ancient Buildings were renovated with the investment by Weihai Tourism Company.

    The buildings hidden in the clouds are well decorated with red walls and brims, simple and unsophisticated. The cluster are divided into Celestial palace, Ground Palace, Entertainment Palace, Big Buddha, Mummy Exhibition, Human Body Sample, Sea Animals and Specimen of Birds and Beasts.

    The "Celestial palace" is equipped with modern means like sound, light and electric's to create vivid fairy stories' figures which are novel in design and have magnificent spectacle, full of legendary color and interesting. The main contents include a small fresco palace, east sea dragon palace, blessing palace, the palace of Eight Immortals, flat peach palace, Lingxiao hall and folk legends palace and Buddha ancestor hall.

    The “Ground Palace”was rebuilt by using traditional folk sculptures and paintings. This palace consists of 27 groups of sculptures ( 156 icons ) and 36 large color frescos ( depict 318 icons ) which represent the scene of Eighteen Layers of Hell. The vivid paintings and sculptures combine with modern means make people be personally on the scene.

    “Mummy Exhibition” demonstrates men and women as mummies at the time of late Ming and early Qing Dynasties as well as their cloth and containers.

    The “Human Body Sample” shows the actual dissection of all parts of human body so as to further understand and raise health care levels.

    All the exhibition areas are compact in design and new in items on display.

    In addition, there are hotels with luxury guest rooms and bar, well equipped and a Kara OK dancing and singing hall which have first class services.
