Weihai World Fishing Village is a large-scale tourism
project, which are sponsored by Weihai Huancui province-level tourism
& vacation district and developed by world fishing tourism development
limited company. With planning total investment of 860 million yuan,
it's located at both sides of inside Shuangdao bay bridge, covering
an area of 5000 mu, mainly including entertainment over sea and
1500 fishing houses with distinctive features of various countries
and regions such as Asia , Africa,Europe ,Oceania, Venice. We try
to build the world fishing village into a place which combines scenery
spot and dinning, dwelling, touring, shopping and enjoying .The
World Fishing Village stresses four features: in planning, the village
is built at the seashore and in the woods and the sea lies in between
the villages. There are all together 1,500 houses. The visitors
can play with sea water, take ships and go fishing when they go
out of the houses. In architecture, we collect the designing draft
for the 1500 houses and establish the international village with
the foreign styles. In activity, the international festivals will
be held which are international fishermen' festival and international
fishing festival. In management, the world fishing village is not
only a scenic spots but also an entertainment place. |

The world fishing village is located in the west seaside of weihai
Huancui Province-level Tourism & Vacation District. It has beautiful
scenery, convenient transportation and infrastructure with complete
sets of equipment .Yanwei express way traverses the district. It's
10 km from Weihai ports, 20 km from Weihai railway station, 30 km
from Weihai airport, 60 km from Yantai airport and railway station.
Infrastructure has reached the standard equipped with water, electricity,
road, communication, waste pollution and liquefied nature gas.

| At present, leisure holiday touring of coming back
to nature is all the fashion , Weihai now has better environment
, the city image of "the most suitable place for dwelling"
become more and more attractive to tourists, building the world
fishing villages if just the best choice, the project will make
much economic profit. In 2001, 6.42 million foreign and domestic
people visited Weihai leading to a 4.7 billion yuan of income, up
13% and 24% over the previous year. The tourism income covers 7.2%
of the GDP of Weihai. The favorable tourism resources, plenty of
customer source and the pioneering design will make the project
a prosperous future and good economic benefits |
