3. Construction Conditions: With three sides facing the sea, Weihai is located at the eastern point of Liao Dong Peninsula. Being attracted by the exceptional seaside tourist resources, many tourist points, such as CCTV Weihai Vedio Base, Xi xiakou Wild Animal Park were founded in Weihai. Weihai is one of the Excellent Tourist Cities of China and was approved as the Model City for Human Resident by the UN in 1990 and 1999. Enjoying the advantages of developing tourist, summer resort, medical treatment, Weihai City plan to construct a Marine Park which integrating tourist and entertainment, marine education, sea food and shopping together. The park will integrate the topics of many marine mammal animals, such as white whale, shark, dolphin, sea lion, sea otter etc., in order to reflect the topics of acknowledging the sea, developing the sea and protect the marine environment. The general program and the individual plan will be designed by the first class special design company of the USA, which had designed the American Marine Park. Many domestic and abroad tourist investment enterprises from Singapore and other countries have investigated the project.
4. Content and Construction Scale of the Project: The project is divided into 3 phases lasting five years.
The project contents: Whales-viewing Hall, Dolphins Performance Hall, Sea-lions Performance Hall, Transparent Under-marine Tunnel for Sharks' Performance, Wild Adventure in the North Pole Area.The 1st Phase: 2 kinds of performances of 0.15 billion RMB yuan planned investment,0.8 Billion RMB yuan
5. Total Investment and the Constitution: The toltal investment is 96.38 million US dollars.
6. Analysis of Economic Analysis: Supposing 6 million tourists per year and 20% of them visit the park, there will be yearly 1.2 million tourists. Supposing 80 RMB yuan for each tourist' consumption, the income of entrance tickets will be 96 million RMB yuan. It takes 2 years to recover the investment.
