Brief Introduction

    Weihai Torch Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone, one of the three torch high-tech industries development zones in china, was developed under the approval of the State Council in March,1991. It is also one of the first sixteen exportation bases for hi-tech products granted by the National Science & Technology Ministry and Foreign Economic & Trade Ministry.

    The zone is situated in the area with the advancement in education and research, northwest Weihai with the total area of 39.2 square kilometers and population of 100 thousand. It is 4 kilometers away from Weihai Harbor, 10 kilometers from Weihai Railway Station, 30 kilometers from Weihai Airport and 80 kilometers Yantai Airport.
