        Approved by law, all the foreign-invested enterprises in the Zone have Chinese legal person position, are protected by Chinese law and are managed in accordance with the international customs. China has already promulgated such economic regulations as "law of the People's Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Equity Joint Venture", "law of the People's Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Contractual Joint Venture", "law of the People's Republic of China on Foreign Capital Enterprise", "law of the People's Republic of China on Economic Contracts Involving Foreign Interest", "Provisions of State Council on Encouragement of Foreign Investment", etc.. According to such laws and regulations, some administration rules have been enacted by Shandong and Weihai Municipalities, and the legal rights of foreign investors will be protected by the Administrative Committee of Weihai Economic & Technological Development Zone.
