Weihai is an important base of commodity grain and a key production area of peanuts ,fruits and aquatic products in Shandong.In 2004, the total output of grain, peanuts and fruits was 912.5 thousand tons, 241.7 thousands tons and 546.2 thousand tons respectively. And the output of aquatic products was 2.4432 million tons.
